  • Americans can now make the jump to a Samsung Galaxy S20 phone, here are the deals offered by Verizon and AT&T. And before we get to the prices, we'd like to remind you that the Galaxy S10 phones are discounted up to $300.

Verizon will start accepting pre-orders for the S20 Ultra and S20+ on February 21 at 12:01am ET, the first units will be available on March 6. The vanilla S20 will be available in Q2.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is $1,400 up front or $58.33 a month for 24 months. Note that you can get up to $200 in Samsung credit when buying S20 Ultra or S20+ (use the Shop Samsung app to redeem). Also, existing Verizon customers can get up to $300 with a trade-in (applied as credit over 24 months).

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G is $1,200 in one payment or $49.99 a month. The S20+ can get an additional $150 discount (applied as credits during the 24 months of the contract).

Note that if you buy an S20 Ultra or S20+, you get get up to $1,050 towards buying a vanilla S20 if you activate a new line. Also, Verizon gives you a 6 months subscription to the Hatch game streaming service.

Speaking of, the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G is $41.66 a month or $1,000 in one lump sum. Note that while Verizon carries the Galaxy Buds+ (it has been selling them for nearly a week now), they are not part of a free pre-order bundle like in other regions.

All three models will feature support for Verizon's 5G network. Check out a speed test at 0:40 in the video below.

Now for AT&T's prices. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G goes for $46.67 a month for 30 months. The full retail price is $1,400. The Galaxy S20+ 5G is $40/month or $1,200, the Galaxy S20 is $33.34/month or $1,000.

Unlike on Verizon, you can pre-order all three phones starting February 21 (the first units will be available March 6). AT&T also plans to offer the Galaxy S20+ on a 5G plan through Cricket Wireless. Also, the S20 family supports FirstNet (a dedicated LTE network for first responders, which runs on AT&T's network).

AT&T offers up to $1,000 credit with a trade-in (which, you guessed it, will be applied as credit installments each month).
